What This Dashboard Does

The Gold Economic Calendar analyzes real-time economic calendar data from MT5 to give you a directional bias for XAU/USD (Gold). It helps you understand whether today's economic news is likely to push gold UP or DOWN.

How the Bias Score is Calculated

The bias score uses a weighted scoring system based on:

• Impact Weight — High = 3 points, Medium = 1.5 points, Low = 0.5 points
• Gold Multiplier — ⭐ Gold-Moving events get 1.5× extra weight (CPI, FOMC, NFP, etc.)
• Direction — Based on Actual vs Forecast:
  • Actual > Forecast = Strong economy = USD strength = BEARISH for Gold
  • Actual < Forecast = Weak economy = USD weakness = BULLISH for Gold

Timeframe: Only Today's Events

The bias calculation only includes events from today (midnight to 11:59 PM broker time). This gives you a real-time view of current market sentiment.

Event Categories Explained

Live Updates & Notifications

• Auto-refresh every 5 seconds — Calendar data updates in real-time
• 🔴 LIVE — Events currently happening are highlighted in green
• Desktop notifications — Alerts for high-impact events 15 minutes before release
• Data change detection — When actual/forecast/previous values update, you'll see a notification

Filter Controls

• Currency — Filter by currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
• Impact — Show only High, Medium, or Low impact events
• ⭐ Gold Impact — Toggle to see only Gold-moving events
• 🔍 Search — Search by event title or country

Quick Tips

• Check the Bias Dashboard at the top — it shows the overall sentiment for today
• Watch the "Live News" section — events currently happening or within the last 15 minutes
• The "Next 5 Upcoming" section shows the most important events coming up
• Gold price ticker updates every 3 seconds from MT5 LiveFeed
• Fed Rate Probabilities — check the new section below the bias dashboard for market-implied odds of a rate move
